I loved SumRando VPN and SumRando Messenger. Why did you discontinue offering your products to users like me?

SumRando is dedicated to providing the best, most secure service to our global user base with dedicated team members and managing all of our own hardware. COVID-19 made this incredibly challenging, and as a result, the team felt it was best to discontinue the offering at this time.

What about my user account and other info?

The SumRando team opted to responsibly destroy any and all hardware and related data on those devices at all nodes. This means any user-provided data including account info (username, password), email address, and SumRando Messenger messages (if applicable) were securely deleted and the equipment is set to be responsibly destroyed and recycled via a leading global IT Destruction, Recycling, and Disposal company.

My PayPal account keeps getting charged. Why?

The SumRando team has worked to stop all auto-renewals of service and have refunded accounts that have been charged incorrectly. You can validate that the subscription has been terminated via the PayPal portal. Please email hello@sumrando.com with your PayPal email address if there are still issues.

What is SumRando Cybersecurity up to now?

While SumRando Cybersecurity is unwinding its consumer product suite and operations out of Mauritius, the SumRando team is still fighting for fair access to the Internet for users in the Global South and is available for B2B consults. Please reach out to hello@sumrando.com for more information.
